I am into doing Music. :)

I am a musician singer songwriter and sound engineer.
Mostly a singer and a writer but some people like my instrument playing mostly on the guitar.
Play bass guitar and baritone guitars / keyboard samplers - synthesis ect
I do some art though without a computer I could not draw a decent circle. LOL!
My art is turning sound waves into pictures using the audio as the main determining factor as to how the colored graphs that look sort of like paintings or photo’s when completed .
The graphic artwork I do purely as an amateur and for the fun of it.

Here is one of my songs ; I wrote this song and am singing it but I did not do the sound engineering and production on it nor the instrumental parts .
Everyone on this plays musical instruments much better than I do thank goodness,

Thank you so very much for that extra nice response Goth and thank you for taking the time to listen to it.
I would say many of my songs are in one way or another spiritually orientated this one especially and those are the secular I also do gospel and Christian music in several styles.
But of course I know Christian fundamentalist are not extremely well thought of in some circles so I will not go to far into that except to say I am kind of a new age ( actually ancient age ) version of a fundamentalist and I am not here to judge , condemn or tell anyone what is right or wrong that is their own business and besides I am on your porch now.

As to my digital art well it is a bit more amateur but I will be more than happy to post some and I thank you for the invitation.
It makes abstract art look totally traditional by comparison so please do not think me way weird when you see it .
I do not just make pictures of my songs but with permission I make them of other peoples songs as well. The funny part is their songs usually turn out better looking than mine.. :)

I am just blown away! This reminds me of fractals and also something I have been reading about where sound produces a picture and it relates to how the energy in the universe manifests into solid matter...you are onto something pretty amazing with this, SeekX. I would strongly encourage you to keep pursuing it. And of course sharing it with us and others. I can see so much in that picture. Is John Williams the John Williams from Australia who sings country music? It is a pretty common name so I was wondering if it might also be the name of an artist from the US?

You know it is funny you mentioned that cause I see more in it every time I look at it .
No , John Williams is from here in the USA , not sure exactly where though I think maybe out west and he is into electronic music .
Thank you for giving this such an intriguing critique and yes I will continue not only doing this but expanding on it , I like being experimental with art.
You know it looks kind of ghostly almost like I might imagine how ectoplasm might look ( I have no real idea what ectoplasm looks like ) with a bunch of forms and faces don’t it.

I think that picture represents a type of reality where everything is energy and takes the form of waves and particles. It would make a really good tool for meditation.

Hey now that is an interesting thought! Evps as images...I know that harmonics play a huge role in creating reality as we know it. In fact recently I discovered that energy moves in waves and so does the source field from which everything comes. Sound too consists of waves, as does light. So it makes sense that a sound could be translated into an image, doesn't it?
